Stocktaking that your team can carry out and trust.
Stocktaking: we design the whole counting process and stay accountable for it, so your team can count accurately and trust the result.
A count is only useful if the result can be acted on. We take responsibility for the whole process: understanding how your operation works, designing how stock is counted, configuring the scanners and the stock data behind them, setting up how discrepancies are recorded and reviewed, integrating the approved results, training your staff and supporting the process once it is running. Your team does the physical counting. We make that counting easier, faster and worth trusting.
What it does for your business
The business side first. The software comes later.
A count your team can carry out
The process is designed around your locations, areas and products, so staff know what to count, in what order, and what to do when something does not add up.
Discrepancies explained
Missing stock is recorded with a reason, such as damage, breakage or expiry, and reviewed before it changes anything, so the figures that come out of the count mean something.
Approved results, properly integrated
Counts are checked and approved, then written into your stock system with a record of what was sent, who approved it and when.
A process that keeps working
We train your counters and supervisors, hand over the running process, and stay on to support it as your locations, products and teams change.

| Scanners and stock data set up by trial and error | Handheld scanners, locations, areas and product data configured and tested | Scanner and data setup |

How the work runs
- 1
Understand the operation
We look at your locations, areas and products, how stock moves, who counts, and where the current process loses time or accuracy.
- 2
Design the count and its controls
We set out how the count runs, who owns each area, how discrepancies are recorded, and who reviews and approves the result.
- 3
Configure the scanner and the data
We set up the handheld scanners, the catalogue, the locations and areas, and the connection to your stock system.
- 4
Test with a real count
Your team counts a real location or area using the new process, and we fix what the run exposes before it becomes routine.
- 5
Train, hand over and support
We train counters and supervisors, hand over written instructions, and stay accountable for keeping the process working.
Questions
Who does the physical counting?
Your team. They know the stock and the site. We design the process, configure the scanners and the data, train the staff, set up how discrepancies are reviewed and support the process, so the counting is easier and the result can be trusted.
How does it fit with the stock system we use?
We work with the stock system you have and connect the approved results into it. Our stock work is built against Epos Now, and on the first call we will say what connecting your system would take.
What happens when the count does not match the system?
Every difference is shown against the expected figure, with the reason for it. Nothing is written into the stock system until someone has reviewed and approved it, and every change leaves a record.
Is this a product we buy, or a service?
It is a service. You are buying the whole process and the expertise behind it: the design, the configuration, the training and the support. The scanners and the console are tools that come with the work.
How does the engagement start?
With a conversation about how you count today and where it goes wrong. We then agree the scope in writing and quote for delivering the operation, with the first step set out plainly.
How is the work priced?
After the first conversation we agree the scope in writing and quote for delivering the operation, with the stages and the payment points set out.
