Brand, site and editor built; public launch pending

A media company has a new identity, a 21-page design guide, a rebuilt portfolio site and an editor for its own films. The work runs privately while launch is prepared.

The result

Orbit Media has a new brand, a design guide, a rebuilt website and a simple editor, so its team can add new films themselves.

The new site is finished and waiting to launch. Until then the public site is still the old one.

The new Orbit Media homepage: capture, create, keep, with the showreel and client logos
The new Orbit Media site we built, captured from the private preview before launch.

The problem

Orbit films aerial and ground footage, edits it into finished films and looks after its customers' media. Prospects choose on the films, and the old site hid them behind thin pages and an old chat widget.

New films arrive often, and the team should not have to wait for a developer to add one.

What we did

  • Brand. We redrew the logo properly and built a full brand pack in orange, charcoal and warm white.
  • Design guide. 21 pages on how the brand looks and how pages are put together, agreed before the website was built.
  • Website. The films lead: 12 of them with stills, a showreel, services, news and Orbit's Google reviews (5.0 from 38). Every old page address still goes somewhere sensible, and WhatsApp replaces the old chat widget.
  • Editor. Two people at Orbit can change text, add a film, preview it and publish, without a developer and without being able to break the live site.

If your work is how you win clients and your website is not showing it, read about websites or get in touch.
