Three homes looked after since 2022, one site rebuilt
Three small Sheffield care homes whose websites we host and look after, and the headless rebuild of one of them, ready to launch.

The result
We have hosted and looked after the websites of three Sheffield care homes, Bridgedale House, Darwin House and Taptonholme, since 2022.
For Bridgedale House we have also rebuilt the website. It is easier to read, with text-size and contrast controls, the home's own photographs, and enquiry, visit and careers forms that go straight to the home. Staff keep editing pages the way they already do. The new site is ready and goes live once the address is switched over.
The problem
A family researching care is usually doing it quickly, often in the evening, usually on a phone, and often while worried. They want to know what care the home offers, what inspectors and other families say, and how to arrange a visit. Bridgedale House is rated Good by the CQC and scores 9.9 out of 10 from 91 reviews on carehome.co.uk.
Its existing site was built years ago and runs to 20 pages. The pages about dementia, respite and palliative care bring in most of its visitors from search. A rebuild that moved or lost a page would cost the home the front door it already had.
What we did
Looking after three sites. Hosting since 2022, plus the changes the homes ask for, such as new manager details, an updated statement of purpose and refreshed images. Darwin House also had a year of monthly maintenance.
Rebuilding Bridgedale House. Staff still edit in the system they know. Families get a new, faster site built for reading on a phone. Every page keeps its address, so the home keeps its place in search results. Before launch we are adding a page of frequently asked questions.
