A plant list that matches the shop floor

A CNC subcontract machinist now shows one plant list, its capabilities and 21 projects. The new site replaced 41 pages of .html addresses in October 2026.

The result

Beta Engineering's new website went live in October 2026. Buyers can see what the machine shop makes, the machines it runs, past projects and its quality accreditations, and the machine count on the site always matches the shop floor.

Every old page address still works, and enquiries go straight to the sales inbox.

The Beta Engineering homepage: precision CNC machining in South Yorkshire since 1984
The new Beta Engineering website we built, live since October 2026. The figures under the heading come from the same plant list as the rest of the site.

The problem

Beta Engineering is a CNC machining subcontractor in Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire, established in 1984. Its customers want three answers: can you hold the tolerance, have you got the capacity, and are you certified.

The shop floor keeps changing as machines arrive and cells are automated, and the old site had fallen behind it.

What we did

We rebuilt the site around those three questions: a page for each kind of machining, the full plant list, the project archive, news and a quality page.

The plant list is kept in one place, so adding a machine updates every page that mentions it, and a machine still on order is shown as due rather than counted. The site shares a look with sister company Daver Steels.

We host the site and keep it up to date. If your capacity is how you win work, read about websites or get in touch.
