# Online trading

> Online trading: we make the journey from product to paid and fulfilled order work for your customers and your team.

Online trading depends on the whole journey working: products, checkout, payment, order emails and fulfilment. We improve that journey for established WooCommerce shops, including rebuilding the storefront where speed and reliability need attention. Products, orders, VAT, shipping and fulfilment stay in the admin your team already uses. You stay on WooCommerce and we take no percentage of sales.

## What it does for your business

- **More visitors become orders**: Pages load quickly and checkout is simple, so fewer customers give up before they pay.
- **Fewer lost orders**: Awkward orders, discounts and delivery rules are tested before launch, so checkout does not fail when it matters.
- **No cut of your sales**: You keep WooCommerce and pay no percentage of turnover. The shop and the code behind it belong to you.
- **Know what earns**: See which campaigns and sources bring paying customers, so marketing money goes where it works.

## What we deliver

- **A shop built around how you sell**: A fast shop designed around your products, brand, search, product options and the way your customers buy. The theme stops setting the limits.
- **The same admin for your team**: Products, orders, VAT, shipping and fulfilment stay where your team manages them today.
- **Checkout tested before launch**: Payments, VAT, shipping, coupons, emails and awkward orders are tested as real orders before the new shop goes live.
- **See what sells**: Analytics that respect cookie consent show which channels bring buyers and where people give up before ordering.

## Process

01. **Review the live shop**: We look at speed, plugins, your catalogue, checkout rules, analytics and the jobs your team does in the admin.
02. **Choose the smallest sensible change**: You get a fixed-scope proposal that says what stays, what changes, what success means, which hosting fits, and how we protect day-to-day trading.
03. **Prepare and test real orders**: We work from your real data and test VAT, shipping, payments, emails, accounts, search and recovery, including the awkward cases.
04. **Launch with a way back**: The move, monitoring, rollback and handover are planned before release. Ongoing System Care is available, and you own everything either way.

## FAQs

**Do I have to leave WooCommerce?**

No. Your team keeps managing products, orders, customers, VAT, shipping and fulfilment in WooCommerce, as it does today. We rebuild the shop your customers see.

**What size shops do you work with?**

Established UK shops that take orders every day and have a real reason to want the site faster or more reliable.

**Can you improve my existing theme instead of rebuilding everything?**

Sometimes. The first review sorts quick wins from deeper problems. If tidying the theme and plugins will do the job, that is what we recommend.

**Do I have to move to Shopify or pay a fee on every sale?**

No. You stay on WooCommerce, and we do not take a percentage of your sales or charge per order. You still pay your card processor, payment gateway, hosting and any paid WooCommerce extensions, and we list those costs before work starts.

**Where will the new shop be hosted?**

In a cloud account in your name, set up with Ricky, our AWS specialist, and sized for your catalogue, traffic and busy periods. You own the account, the shop and the data, so there is no lock-in. We set up the domain, monitoring, backups, releases and rollback, and you talk the trade-offs through directly with Max.

**How does pricing work?**

It starts with a free call. If there is something worth doing, a review of the live shop sets out what to fix first and what each fix should bring in. Anything after that is quoted as a fixed scope, with the timeline and assumptions in writing. If a change will not earn back what it costs, you hear that before you spend anything.

**How will we know whether the new shop is working?**

We agree the measures before work starts. That normally includes page and checkout speed, orders completing without errors, where visitors come from, and which pages and campaigns lead to orders.
